Neutron Star EoSs

In solving the Regge-Wheeler equation to get the tidal love number, I developed a different but equivalent equation, in both r-based formula and h-based formula. My equation avoids the discontinuity at the interface where a first-order phase transition may happen.

Fast sky localization

When I was an undergraguate, I visited Prof. Linqing Wen at University of Western Australia for 3 months. There I carried out some research on the bayesian method of GW source sky localization. After sampling on the extrinsic parameters, I chose a Gaussian distribution to approximate the real prior, whose mean and variance are all analytically obtained from the original parameters. With this Gaussian prior, I found a solution for the posterior of sky position in an analytic and simple form.

My friend Qian Hu continued this project and he changed the prior approximation. Improved it.
